AI-Powered Expense Tracking Bot
Built a Telegram bot that uses Claude AI to automatically record and categorize user expenses (food, utilities, etc.) and generate detailed spending reports for any custom date range.
Business Challenge
Putting all the expenses details and categorizing them on the database manually can take some time. While putting out all details staff can get confused what was the last input and cause some wrong calculations. And also generating the report takes some time.
Solution Delivered
AI-powered telegram bot, where you submit your expense like "$200 on office chair", the AI will automatically categorize this expense as e.g. "Office goods" and save the price, category and name of the item in the database automatically. And the excel report can be simply generated by putting the date range.
Outcomes Achieved
Much simpler to input all the expenses to the databases. And can see all the inputs in the telegram chatbot, therefore protecting yourself from inputing existing/wrong expense into the database.
Measurable Business Outcome
Saved around 5-10 mins for each manual input of the expenses into the database. And minimizing the risks of inputting the wrong data by 100%.
